Concider The Following

I've been think quite a lot lately. About what I really want, and here's what I've come up with.

• After Highschool I will be taking some time off:

         All my life I have worked my butt off for good grades and all that jazz. I know I could get a scholarship and go somewhere, except I'm not ready to "grow up" and start the life of College, job, family, retire, die. I just do not see that as working for me.

• I can apply for AFS and go to Finland, or Sweden (as my top choices) and live with a family for a year, going to another year of highschool and them come home, see who I am as person and evaluate my life. 

All my life I have wanted to travel and see the world, I haven't had many opportunities, except one recently but it is only 15 days and costs about 1/4 of the year I could do, Also with the year I will have the chance to make long-lasting relationships and learn a new language. Both I have seen happen with many AFS'ers that come to my school.

• Another thing I have been considering, is Buying an old RV and taking the adventure of a lifetime..The lone wolf traveling North to find her self, nothing but the stars to guide her. This does sound like a truely lovely experience.

However the AFS programs have an age limit on them, I also will probably never have the chance to live in finland for a year. With the RV trip I can come back from Finland and save my pennies, maybe go to school and around the time I'm 25 set out on my adventure.

As You can see I have many decisions, and a serious case of wanderlust.
